India is a dwelling place of best engineering institutes, both private and government that offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These colleges are located in four metropolitan cities as well as other cities ─ Kharagpur, Guwahati, Raipur, Pune, Nagpur, Rorkee etc. Most of the engineering colleges pursue a uniform system of selection, for instances, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) take admission on the basis of JEE, GATE , and JMET.
