PLA secretary arrested in Imphal

IMPHAL: In a major breakthrough, the team of police commandos and troopers of 39 Assam Rifles arrested the secretary of the Division No. VI of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), the military wing of the proscribed underground organisation Revolutionary People's Front, on Monday night. The rebel was identified as T. Sanju, 27, of Thoubal district. Police recovered two AK 56 rifles and two 9 mm pistols.
